Gotcha Day No. 2

This post is a tad late, but better late than never, right? Thanksgiving weekend will always be an extra special time at our house simply because that is the weekend of Nola's gotcha day. Honestly, I'm still not sure what I really want to call this day. I'm also still working out how I want to celebrate these special anniversaries.

We spent our second anniversay together in Umatilla, FL. Nola and I were in the company of Onkel Mike, Oma, Tante Moni, Fluffy and Princess. I'll leave you with some photos from that day -- November 27th, 2009. Before that, here's a flashback to the first day of the rest of our lives.

I wish you JOY

Honestly, I cannot believe that we are nearing the year 2010. I swear, didn't we just deal with Y2K? Where have the past 10 years gone? Forget me answering that question -- I would need a completely new blog for that one, and I can barely do justice to this one lately. I am hoping to change my blogging habits in 2010. Just wait and see ;)

Really, though, I wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. 2009 has been a very rough year for me, personally. As bad as things have been, I still know they could be much much worse.

I have so many updates to share from 2009 and I hope to get those posted soon. I also plan to add some fun and interest to this blog in the new year. I mean, I don't want Nola to think her mother is a complete bore now, do I??

So, enjoy the image below. I realize some of you may have already seen this if you recieved my e-card. I truly wish you all a very happy and healthy 2010. Most of all, I wish you JOY.
