On July 20th, Nola and I headed to Ft. Lauderdale beach to meet up with one of her roommates from Tokmok. Jamie and her kiddos were in town for the weekend and invited us out for the afternoon. I first met Mackenzie (Azima) when I traveled to bring Nola home. Here are Nola and Mackenzie on Dec. 6th, 2007.
And here they are today. (Jamie, I used your shot since mine didn't come out.)
We spent some time hanging out and talking and then took the kids down to the beach for a couple of hours. Here are a few more shots from that day. It was hard to get the girls to look at the camera, let alone smile and pose ;)

Jamie, I'm so glad we were able to share this time together. I really enjoyed all three of your little ones and I hope we do it again soon!!!

Thank you for the post- how nice! We really enjoyed the day as well, and I would love to do it again- regularly (we should go for a 4some when Gen is down if you can get up this way!) I feel like we scored doubly with the Kyrgyz adoption community...Kyrg was definitely where we were meant to find our baby...plus we get the added bonus of having this really special bond with some really amazing people- like you and Noli!
Scarlett has the dress to match Noli's sun hat. Too cute.
It's our turn next! We'll be down in October for my high school reunion, so let's try to get together then!
They look like they are going to fall out of that window!! Too cute!! I can tell N wasn't too thrilled with the sand, so much like MOM!!!
Could those two be any cuter?!
They are such cuties!! What a special bond they'll share as they get older. We're hoping to make a trip to Boca in the spring and would love to meet you guys with our little Tokmok cutie!
Rach, that would be great if we could mee up in October. I'll definitely do my best to make that happen. Just let me know when and we'll work it out :)
Allison, please keep me posted on your visit this way in the spring. We'd love to meet you and your little one/s :)
