Noli didn't dress up for Halloween this year. I went back and forth as to whether or not I would take her trick or treating. I guess I decided we are holding out for next year. She did sport a cute little Trick or Treat ensemble which you can see in the Pumpkin Patch post, and she was able to wear it again on Halloween while we hung out with a few of Oma's neighbors, handing out candy while trying to stay out of the rain.

My dear friend, Robin, came to visit us a couple of weeks ago. It had been almost 3 years since we last saw each other and this was her first time meeting Nola. We had such a great time catching up, eating healthy, and power walking every day. Our time flew by far too fast, but it was so nice to be in the company of a friendly face who didn't expect much more than hanging with the girls. I certainly needed that!

On the development front, Miss Nola has 4 teeth and I think I see no. 5 making it's way through those gums. I'm not sure about her weight, but she has graduated to size 3 diapers. They are huge, however. But we were suddenly experiencing leakage with the smaller size even though they seemed to be roomy enough. She's mastered walking and likes to run run run - which of course freaks mommy out a bit! My girl loves to laugh and it's so nice seeing her smile and laugh - she is clearly happy in her home and love love loves her Omi and Tante Moni. I tell you, that Tante Moni can make her smile from a mile away. Moni has got all that and more as far as Noli is concerned. She loves being chased and enjoys hiding around corners, behind doors, or cabinets. I'll have more to share after her 18 month wellness exam in early December.
One last comment before the final photos - a BIG thank you to all of you for thinking of Nola and I during this transition in my life. The support I receive from my dear friends (that includes my blog buddies) helps more than you know.

What a wonderful set of pictures!!! I'm really glad you had time to spend with your friend Robin. I know it meant a lot to you to get together and hope it happens again sooner than three years! :-)
And hang in there on the job front...it's hard work, but in the end, things will work out fine.

She's a beauty! Love the skeleton Pjs and that crinkle face! Thank you for the update. Sorry the job search has been so frustrating for you. I really hope things do open up with the new year (or before, perhaps). We are really looking forward to your visit- maybe Noli can give Kenzie some pointers on the walking front!
Yay! So good to see/hear from you guys. Sorry the job hunting is rough. Looks like Nola and Anara have the same curly Kyrgy hair! I love it :)
I am so glad you are not getting too stressed about the job hunt and enjoying this time with Nola, a year from now you will look back and be so glad to have had this extra time with her at this fun age. She is looking like such a BIG girl now with her hair getting long and her facial expressions. She is just as cute as always :) I'm glad to hear she continues to do so well and is growing good, even it is at her own pace...hugs to you!
Noli is such a beautiful little girl & is quite lucky to have a wonderful mama. Thanks for the update!
my goodness, Nola just keeps getting cuter and cuter!!!!!!!!!
The sweater pictures make me laugh, it would be like she is up here in the North country. Nola and Phoebe look like they have the same "dimples" at the corner of their mouths! I can't wait until they get together, oh my goodness, 9 days!!!
